Allow It To Unfold

How do I know where to go, what to do? 
How do I look with in? 
I follow the guidance that I know I’ve been given, 
Do everything in my power to succeed.
Yet, the losses are accumulating. 
What am I doing wrong? 
What am I doing right? 
Am I to lose it all before I gain the sight? 
Or will the answer come to me in the night?
”Surrender”, ”Release”, ”Let Go”, ”Patience”, ”Wait” and ”Have Faith”’ – 
Am I not doing these for what I am to create?
”In some small way, you are already doing that which is your purpose.” 
”Follow your bliss, your joy, with no expectations and the money will come.” 
In which lifetime is it going to happen?
Could it, please, be allowed in this one?! 
What am I to do? 
What am I to say, 
that will allow things to flow my way? 

”Continue as you have and love your self more. 
Take care of your body and mind the store. 
The answers are coming, sooner than you think.

Allow It To Unfold
”Allow it to unfold” – not always easy in this fast - paced, gotta do it now, society of ours. Yet, if we’ll plant the seeds of what we want to happen (create), nurture them and patiently (another button – pushing word!) allow them to grow, we’ll let things happen in a way that we want or even better! For example, I have a piano that’s been in my family for over 45 years, In downsizing, I didn’t have room for it, nor did I want to move it to a different climate. Keeping it for my daughters was my 1st choice – but where?! I actually had it set up to do an even trade for a keyboard with a music store. However, I didn’t run to take care of it. I’d thought of just selling it, giving it to a family member if they wanted. What I hadn’t thought of was to ask their father if he could hold it for them. When that suggestion was made, I followed up on it. He was ready and willing, especially since that piano was also the one he first played! This was my first choice. As he made arrangements to have the piano moved, he informed me that he’d bring over one of his keyboards! Perfect! I got what I wanted all the way around. The piano is still ”in the family” and being held for my children until they have someplace of their own to put it and I still have something to play without having spent hundreds or thousands of dollars! 

At some point, I would have called it procrastination: however, this isn’t always the case. There are times when we are meant to not act until the right opportunity appears. As I started my move to Colorado, I let go of a lot of things – even things I truly loved, as there just wasn’t the space. My original plan had been to only bring my beds, a breakfront bookcase, a card table and chairs for the dining room until I found new furnishings. A friend has wanted my sofa set since the day I bought it and made claim to it. In the meantime, a client of hers gave her a custom-made sofa and throw pillows. She kept telling me that it was mine. It went on the moving truck, basically sight unseen by me. It is absolutely perfect and I didn’t pay a dime and neither did she! I had new furniture before I left town and it wouldn’t have mattered if it was perfect or not because it worked for the moment. 

Now I’m looking for a great 4 – wheel drive vehicle with my car as a straight across-trade or else a good enough deal that I don’t have car payments. I just found out from this friend that she knows someone who deals at the car auctions. I’m waiting to see how this seed will blossom. (I’m using a lot of ”Believe” and ”Gratitude” on this one as well as ”New Directions”.) My hands are open to receive and my mind is releasing what I want to the Universe so it can create exactly the right deal for me. 

”Allow it to unfold” doesn’t mean to do nothing. It means we need to be aware, alert, keep our eyes and ears open and see what happens. In the meantime, we take the next step, whether it be to pay the bills, wash the dishes, tend the garden or treat our self with some time to play. 
Playing is what so many of us have often forgotten how to do. We need to have fun in our life in order to clear the cobwebs out so we have more clarity and can be more creative. Be sure to include some fun in your ’New Years’ resolutions. 

Go.... Have fun and ”allow it to unfold.”
